Georgetown Hospital Volunteer Association (GHVA)

The Georgetown Hospital Volunteer Association (GHVA) was originally formed in 1958 and re-established in 2006 when Georgetown Hospital (GH) was transferred to Halton Healthcare Services. The GHVA has a mission to provide care, comfort and service to the patients, visitors, family and staff of the Georgetown Hospital and to raise funds for the betterment of the GH.

The GHVA is a registered charity and has numerous fundraising initiatives, noted below. Funds raised are donated to the GH and used to purchase new equipment.

The GHVA raises funds through:

Charitable Donations - The GHVA accepts charitable donations, including memoriam. Our local funeral home has donation cards for this purpose if you request one. Receipts will be issued for all donations and a letter to the family recognizing your contribution will be sent for a memoriam.
